The Next Chapter

At least a part of every retreat is devoted to each member sharing their own significant events with the group. Another part will be a guided discussion on a generic topic of current interest to the group. Prior to each meeting, the chair of the group, who is a trained coach and mentor, will meet one-to-one with each member to explore how that member will get maximum value out of the 2 day retreat, and to work on any issues the member may wish to address and subsequently share with the group. A typical venue is a residential college or modestly priced country hotel. Each member takes it in turns to organise the venue and take responsibility for the arrangements. We meet for supper on Day 1 and finish around tea time on Day 3. Each TNC group (as we call The Next Chapter groups) meets for two days, four times a year – we fix the dates a long time in advance! How it works.... Finally, and in many ways most importantly, we make sure we have fun.
